Our courses are designed for people with little or no experience of the plumbing trade or simply if they are an experienced plumber and now want a professional qualification they can entre in and excel. We at PTCEL deliver high quality intensive plumbing courses at our own City and Guilds accredited training centre based in East London, easily accessible from anywhere in the UK. We provide professional training, comfortable surroundings and a friendly atmosphere.

We specialise in training our students to achieve the trade recognised City and Guilds 6189 Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating. This is one of the fastest courses available allowing students to achieve their new career within just 8 weeks/20 weeks (Part-time/Full-time).

The 6189 level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating starts with basic pipe work skills and moves onto more complex plumbing tasks, including airing cupboards, bathroom suites, above ground drainage, central heating installation (no gas/oil) and low carbon steel. Including on-site experience to expand the portfolio and prepare the students for a job in construction the industry.

We offer full-time and part-time courses allowing our students to fit the training around both the current work and family commitments with the ability to learn at their own pace.

Throughout the training our students are supported by a fully qualified industry experienced tutor. Our course provides a combination of practical training and theory in our modern and fully equipped training centre.

Student’s assessments are completed online in a classroom and there is a requirement for on-site portfolio for the 6189 course; students need to complete theory training, self study and on-line GOLA examinations.
